English Level 3 ICEI 2022

 Hayao Miyazaki is a Japanese illustrator, animator, director, screenwriter, and film producer. Was born on January 5, 1941 in Tokyo, Japan. A great fan of comics, he finds his true calling at a very early age and his first contact with the world of animation takes place at the Toei studio. There he works on his first feature film, 'The Enchanted Princess', in 1968.  He opens his own animation studio, Studio Ghibli, in 1985, from where he directs important titles that give him great recognition as a filmmaker worldwide. Examples of these are titles such as 'Princess Mononoke', 'Spirited Away', 'Howl's Moving Castle' or 'Ponyo on the Cliff'. I admire him too much because, if there is something that I like in this world, it is animation. When I watch a Miyazaki movie I lose track of time. I am immersed in the movie and nothing else. They are all good in my opinion, and everything is perfect: the animation, the music... THE STORIES ARE BEAUTIFUL...

I remember that since I was little I liked stories. They can tell a lot in very little text.  I always thought that reading, listening, seeing something that touches your soul can change you and mark you for life.  Now, studying an artistic career about telling stories, I feel that my mission is to transmit something that reaches people and that they can reflect on the story that I am trying to tell. What I study can influence people's minds. I like human stories that deal with everyday problems that, as people, we face every day. I like the drama HAHAHA. I hope one day to write something that can reach people. Something with which they feel identified and that, in some way, can help them. I see myself in this process living. TO LIVE. I feel that I have lived very little, and beauty is in the everyday.
